The distance between Gazipaşa Alanya Airport and Anamur is 82 km, and the distance between Alanya Airport and Anamur is 248 km. You can also reach Anamur by shuttle or bus departing from the airport.

It was discovered by George Evart Bean and Terence Bruce Mitford as a result of their investigations in Cilicia between 1964 and 1968. On the maps showing the ancient places in Western Cilicia, it was determined to be Titiopolis instead of today's Kalınören Village.
