The comedy actor Marlon Wayans sets out to debut the next iconic stand-up comedians in his one-hour special show Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners. The show premieres on Thursday, April 21 at 3 a.m. ET on HBO Max.
The streaming platform announced the stand-up special’s debut date on Twitter on April 11, with a trailer briefing the stand-up comedians expected to bring the house down with laughter.
Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners features Wayans’ niece and stand-up comic Chaunté Wayans, social media influencer Tony Baker, star D.C. Ervin, Esau McGraw and writer Sydney Castillo.
Wayans and the 5-man crew walk majestically onto the stage dressed as men in black. Wayans then introduces the stand-up comedians saying, “They’ve toured with me all over the world… my favorite comedians. And so tonight we’re creating opportunities. They’re the headliners.”

There’s gonna be some serious rib-cracking tonight for the HBO Max audience!
Wayans as Lou on Bel-Air
Lately Wayans wrapped up his critically applauded role as Will's long-last dad Lou on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air remake, Bel-Air streaming on Peacock. After years of trying to find out who his dad is, Will got to know the truth when Lou appeared, revealing that he was in jail. He didn't want Will to feel embarrassed of him and so made Phil and Vy swear not to tell him who or where he was. It was an unexpected yet commendable emotional performance from the comedy actor.
