Showtime’s I Love That For You Comedy Series Will Leave You in Giggles

Since her success in Saturday Night Live, What We Do in the Shadows, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Trainwreck, Vanessa Bayer has played supporting and guest roles in many captivating films. Her most recent piece is I Love That For You, a comedy series you cannot afford to miss on your Binge watch list.

The upcoming Vanessa Bayer’s (portraying Joanna Gold) comedy film centers on an infancy leukemia sufferer as she pursues her deep-rooted dream to be a home shopping platform host. 

Dropping her ‘cancer girl’ nickname, Joanna leaves her parents, begins a sprouting romance in her adult life, and makes friends with her favorite, Molly Shannon. Joanna lies that her cancer is back from the fear of getting dismissed after a misunderstanding at work. 

The film takes viewers on a ride as Joanna’s lies turn into a stream of lies she traps under as she battles to survive on this highly pushing workstation, where everyone plays dirty to accomplish.

The trailer introduces us to the slightly naïve and quirky Joanna Gold as she quickly befriends her icon Jackie (portrayed by Molly Shannon) of The White Lotus. The clip also shows comedic, offbeat, and awkward moments. There are glimpses of desperation and panic as Joanna Gold reveals that her cancer is back.

This heartwarming series is chiefly produced by Michael Showalter, Jessi Klein, and Jeremy Beiler with the talented acts of Vanessa Bayer, Jenifer Lewis, Molly Shannon, Matt Rogers, Bess Armstrong, Punam Patel, Paul James, Ayden Mayeri, and Matt Malloy.
