Hindi crime series ‘She’ returns to Netflix for a second season. 'She,' a Hindi crime thriller drama following a successful first season, with an announcement clip revealing that a sequel is in the works.

The women-centric crime drama series will be available to stream shortly, and viewers won't have to wait long because the launch date is coming.

The premiere date for 'She' Season 2 has been set on June 17 at 12:00 a.m. on Netflix.

‘She’ Season 2 Plot

The story of the second season will pick up where the first season left off.

The story follows Bhumika, a timid Mumbai officer played by Aaditi Pohankar, who goes undercover to expose a narcotics network and explores the potential of her suppressed sexuality.

Aaditi Pohankar is playing the role of a female constable, Bhumika Pardesi, who was inducted in the Anti Narcotic group and went on an undercover mission to expose a drug racket.

To achieve her target and expose the dark mysteries of the underworld, she had to work as a prostitute.

‘She’ Season 2 Cast

The same star cast which worked on the first season is most likely to return for the second as well.

Aaditi Pohankar, who has worked in Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil films, plays the female main character in this web series. Aditi made her Bollywood debut in Dibakar Banerjee's Love Sex Aur Dhokha, released in 2010..

She also starred alongside Riteish Deshmukh in the 2014 Marathi film Lai Bhaari, in which Salman Khan and Genelia D'Souza made cameo appearances

Along with Aaditi Pohankar, Vijay Varma, Vishwas Kini, Kishor Kumar G, Vishesh Sagar, and Shaqib Ayub will also play pivotal roles in this web series.

‘She’ Season 2 Showrunners

The second season's script was co-written by famed Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali and Divya Johry, and it was directed by Arif Ali and Avinash Das. Imtiaz Ali is financing the seven-episode series through his own production company, Window Seat Films and Viacom18 Studios' Tipping Point.
