According to data published by the Russian BAZA Telegram channel, high-end used breast implants are being sold online for nearly a quarter of their original price.
Experts Issue a Vital Warning: 'It Could Be Fatal'
Even though the prices may seem attractive, experts are warning in no uncertain terms: using second-hand silicone can lead to tissue death (necrosis) and even death due to the immune system rejecting it.
WARNING: Implants removed from the body carry the biomaterial of the original owner, and due to the structure of silicone, it is impossible to sterilize them by boiling or cleaning with chemicals.
