Oğuzhan Uğur Takes a Clear Stand in Nikbinler Debate, Speaks on Tan Taşçı and Murat Dalkılıç
The Saygı1 night, a perennial hot topic in the world of entertainment and music, is currently being discussed not for the performances on stage, but rather for the controversies that erupted afterwards. The debate over 'artificial intelligence' that began following the performance by Nikbinler at the night organized for Mustafa Sandal has escalated, with more parties getting involved and tensions mounting. Most recently, Oğuzhan Uğur's commentary added a whole new dimension to the debate.

Tan Taşçı, on the other hand, leveled harsh criticisms regarding lip-syncing and stage sincerity.
As the debates intensified, the man of the night, Mustafa Sandal, openly supported Nikbinler. Sharing a raw audio recording of soloist Berika Karadağ, Sandal stood behind the young musicians, stating, 'For me, this debate is settled.' However, even this support was not enough to quell the controversy. With the involvement of Cüneyt Özdemir, the parties were seemingly divided in two.
However, the real turning point was the harsh statement coming from the Nikbinler front.
Berika Karadağ has once again sparked controversy by fiercely lashing out at her critics, stating, 'I don't consider people and singers who have so far performed on stage with 78 backup vocalists, used thousands of programs I don't even know the names of, and have made it all the way to Harbiye with voice recordings, as artists. Everyone should first clean up their own doorstep before casting stones. You have no right to do so, I'm not giving you that privilege.'
At this very point, the comment from Oğuzhan Uğur stood out.
In his statement, Uğur expressed hope that Tan Taşçı and Murat Dalkılıç would not be targeted, emphasizing that both figures have a right to voice their opinions in the industry. Uğur, who suggested that it's not about entering into a controversy against their comments but rather learning from them, pointed out that sudden attention could lead young artists into error. Drawing attention to the fact that Nikbinler is a very new yet high-potential group, Uğur wished for a long-lasting career with more mature statements.
'I was deeply saddened by this statement... I hope that Tan Taşçı and Murat Dalkılıç were not the ones being referred to. After all, both Tan Taşçı and Murat Dalkılıç have the right and authority to comment on you, me, and the industry. They are both genuine artists and are highly valued. It's not about entering into a controversy against their comments, but rather learning from them. The sudden influx of attention and comments can disorient a person and lead to mistakes. Nikbinler is a very new and very good group. I hope that they learn to digest the comments they receive as soon as possible and embark on a long journey in the industry and in hearts with more mature statements.'
