‘Octonauts: Above & Beyond’ Is Coming Back To Netflix For A Second Season!

Octonauts: Above & Beyond is a children's streaming television series based on the Octonauts franchise. The Netflix spin-off series, produced by Mainframe Studios and Silvergate Media, launched on September 7, 2021.

The series is structured similarly to the original Octonauts series, except it focuses on terrestrial creatures and surroundings.

A second season is set for a 2022 release on May 2. Netflix has released a sneak peek for the second season of the show.

'Octonauts: Above & Beyond' is a spin-off of the original 'Octonauts' series. With 25 episodes, it aired on Netflix on September 7th, 2021. There is a bigger focus on traveling across the world, discovering and aiding creatures above the sea, and seeking the support of recurring characters like Min the Mapmaker and newcomer Paani the Monkey.

Almost all of the Octonauts' previously presented friends and family have been recruited as Octo-Agents, wearing new watches that, along with other things, can signal an Octo-Alert. The new series also introduces the concept of 'Terra Gups,' who are Gups that are only interested in going on adventures on land.

The series is scheduled to have several seasons, with 156 episodes produced between 2021 and 2024. Silvergate Media is producing the series, with Mainframe Studios currently working on new content for the series. Above & Beyond, like the Octonauts Netflix specials, is only available on Netflix. Silvergate, on the other hand, is pushing for the series to return to television in the future.
