‘Manifest’ Returns Exclusively on Netflix with Season 4

After being canceled by NBC last June, Manifest pushes through with its fourth season that will soon be streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Being one of the most successful series in the past years, fans are thrilled about what might happen in Season 4. Here’s what we know about the final season, expected to be released in late spring 2022.

The Journey of ‘Manifest’

‘Manifest’ aired their first three seasons on NBC. The first season, airing from September 2018 to February 2019, had the most average viewership rating out of all the seasons. During this, ‘Manifest’ was also nominated as Best Science Fiction TV Series and Best Primetime Program in the Drama category.

After ‘Manifest’ began streaming on Netflix, the series slowly gained its success as it garnered billions of views within several weeks, and eventually became the third show to spend 100 days in the top 10.

Despite all this, NBC decided to cancel the series. ‘Manifest’ creator Jeff Rake expressed his dismay on Twitter last June, 'My dear Manifesters, I'm devastated by NBC's decision to cancel us.'

Rake expressed his gratitude to the fans for the love and support the whole series has received. He also hoped for the series to have a new home, stating that the fans deserve an ending to their story.

Thankfully, after negotiations between Netflix and Warner Bros, news came out in August 2021 that Season 4 is going to be aired exclusively on Netflix.

What’s The Hype About In Season 4

Intended to be a six-season series, fans are both excited and devastated about the immediate end of ‘Manifest’. The fourth and final season is said to air in late spring 2022.

‘Manifest’ Season 4 will be 20 episodes and may be released in two or more parts. Rake said in an interview that he is absolutely confident that the number of episodes are enough to tell the entirety of the story as he always intended to.

In November, Rake posted a photo showing the set located in New York City, announcing the beginning of filming for Season 4.
