Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Announced They Do Not Want a Ceasefire or Negotiations
Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Arakçi, has clarified that the Tehran administration has not requested a ceasefire. Arakçi indicated that, under the current circumstances, Iran sees no justification for entering into negotiations with the United States.
The Minister, while clearly articulating his country's foreign policy stance, suggested that diplomatic steps would be limited during a period marked by ongoing regional tensions.
The clashes continue to escalate.
The attacks by the US and Israel against Iran have entered their sixth day. As tensions in the region escalate rapidly, Iran is also launching counterattacks. With the spread of the conflicts, civilians and infrastructure in Iran are suffering severe damage. Both sides are escalating the intensity of the conflict through mutual bombardments and retaliations, while Iran's intelligence operations persist.
Iran's Foreign Minister Arakçi also evaluated the agenda for the American press.

In an interview with NBC, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi stated, 'We are not seeking a ceasefire. Moreover, we see no reason to negotiate with the United States. We have negotiated with them twice, and each time, they attacked us in the midst of the talks. Consequently, there is no request for a ceasefire from us. We have never sent them any message.'
