The story of Sherlock Holmes, the world's most famous detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, continues.
Following two films directed by Guy Ritchie and the BBC series 'Sherlock,' another series is set to hit the screens.
According to Variety, renowned director Guy Ritchie is set to direct the "Young Sherlock Holmes" series for Amazon Prime Video.
Based on Andy Lane's novels of the same name, this series will feature Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who starred in Ritchie's recent film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare," as the young Sherlock Holmes.
"Young Sherlock Holmes" takes us back to the detective's youth.
In the series, 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes finds himself amidst a murder mystery at Oxford University. Despite his inexperience and lack of discipline in his first case, Sherlock manages to uncover a global conspiracy.
Guy Ritchie, who will serve as both director and executive producer, shared intriguing insights about the series.
Ritchie stated, 'In this series, we will see a young version of the detective that the world thinks it knows. We'll discover what drives Sherlock, how his character emerged, and how he became the beloved detective we all admire.'
