Phuong, who promptly returned her crown worth approximately 4 billion VND to the organizers right after winning the competition, has embarked on a new chapter in her life today as a 25-year-old graduate student.
The model from Quang Binh, born in 2001, made the decision to return her crown with a purpose that has been described as "the boldest step in the history of Vietnam beauty pageants."
