Famous director Quentin Tarantino criticized the Dune films directed by Denis Villeneuve, stating that he had not watched them.

Tarantino, who is known for criticizing remakes, explained, 'I watched David Lynch's Dune films from 1984 several times. I don't need to watch that story again. I don't need to see the spice worms again. I don't even need to watch a film where the word 'spice' is said so dramatically.'
