Niamh Hough, a 22-year-old living in Warrington, England, transformed a job often prejudiced by a segment of society into her own success story. The young entrepreneur, who runs her own cleaning company, became a hot topic on social media due to both her working hours and the income she earns.
Hough, who stated that he hardly ever works after 3 p.m. during the week, responded to those who belittled him by sharing his earnings statement on social media.
Self-proclaimed 'sparkle specialist' Hough left her followers in awe with the income she managed to generate in just a five-day work period.
She meticulously listed her daily work hours and earnings on her social media account, providing a detailed breakdown as follows:
Monday: Working from 07:00 to 14:30 / Earning £268
Tuesday: Working from 07:30 to 15:00 / Earning £212.50
Wednesday: Working from 08:00 to 15:00 / Earning £161.50
Thursday (The calmest day): Working from 09:00 to 14:00 / Earning £138
Friday: Working from 07:00 to 16:00 / Earning £234
After clocking approximately 34 hours over the week, Hough ended up with a total income of £1,014 at the end of the five days. This income, exceeding about £4,000 per month (approximately 262,000 TL), was found to be quite remarkable considering the young woman's work pace.
Sharing a photo of his earnings reflected in a mirror, followed by a video filmed in his minivan, Hough addressed those who dismissively labeled him as "just a cleaner." He humorously responded to the criticism by singing along to the famous lyrics of Rihanna, making light of the situation.
'I had forgotten that we were in a competition about which job is cooler,' she emphasized, taking pride in her work.
The video, which reached tens of thousands of views in a short period of time, made a big splash on social media. Many users supported the young woman, stating that no profession should be belittled.
