Amazon Reveals Date for 'Yakuza: Like a Dragon' Series Adaptation

Following the immense success of their Fallout series, which not only boosted the sales of the game series but also became the platform's second most-watched show, Amazon has accelerated its work on game adaptations that were already on its radar.
Next in line is the adaptation of Like a Dragon: Yakuza.
Sega's popular video game series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, is set to become a six-episode crime thriller series. Directed by Take Masaharu, the series will feature Takeuchi Ryoma in the lead role as Kiryu Kazuma.
Like a Dragon: Yakuza will premiere on October 25th.
The first season, consisting of six episodes, will release its first three episodes on October 25th, with the remaining three episodes dropping on November 1st. The series' story will span two different time periods, 1995 and 2005. We'll all be watching to see how this adaptation of Sega's storied game series performs.
