The content creator, who lamented the inability to find any loose and comfortable models while shopping for pajamas, explained that this was actually due to a safety regulation.

'The reason why children's pajamas are tight is not a matter of style, but rather, it's due to a law. Back in the 1970s, there were a significant number of fires in the United States, and unfortunately, many children were severely injured or even lost their lives in these incidents. Consequently, in 1972, a law was enacted stating that pajama fabrics must be produced with flame-retardant chemicals. However, it was later proven that this wasn't the best or healthiest solution. Instead, they started to produce snug-fitting pajamas; tight pajamas catch fire more slowly due to the lack of air circulation within. All brands have conformed to this law. I was quite taken aback when I discovered this information. I hope it will be useful for you when choosing pajamas.'
