There are seven churches mentioned in the Bible, the holy book of Christianity.

According to the information we have compiled from the Turkish Museums, in one part of the Gospel, St. John says that Jesus asked him to send a letter to each of the seven churches. He then lists the content of the letters.

All of these churches, which constitute an important place in Christianity, are located in Turkey. These seven churches, built on lands belonging to the Roman Empire, are known as the “Seven Churches of Asia”.
