Wizkid Announces Release of New Album in November
Nigerian hip hop star Wizkid is to release his fifth studio album, titled 'More Love, Less Ego,' on November the fourth.
The African star's project will be released via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records.
He announced the dropping of the album on social media Friday.
On Thursday he teased fans on Twitter, simply posting 'Midnight,' followed by some music note emojis and a black and then red love heart.
First thing Friday Wizkid tweeted news of the new album with another to-the-point tweet.
'More Love Less Ego, 4 November,'' he tweeted, alongside a link for fans to pre-order the project.
More new content followed when Wizkid dropped the single 'Money & Love,' alongside a visualizer, which has amassed over 200,000 views on YouTube so far, giving fans a listen to the album's new sound.
He announced that the music video would be out soon via his Twitter account.

Last month the rhythmic rhymer released 'Bad To Me,' a single from his new album produced by P2J.
P2J has also worked with artists such as Beyonce, Burna Boy and Dave.
The sensual song has gone down a treat with fans and the official music video has nearly three million views.
The hitmaker is due to perform live on Apple Music Live before this season ends and will play a big show at Madison Square Garden, his first time performing at the venue, on the 16th of November.
The now 32 year old is also de to play a show at La Campagne Tropicana Beach in Oniru on 30th December.
The Afrobeat artist's last album was released in October of 2020, and went on to go gold in sales in the USA, peaking at 69 in the Billboard music charts.
The single 'Essence,' from that project was a big success. Versions of the track featured Tems and Justin Bieber and went platinum in the USA and two other countries while going gold in New Zealand.
The singer and songwriter is perhaps best known worldwide for his contribution to Drake's 2016 track, 'One Dance,' Wizkid featured on that track alongside Drake and Kyla and saw it go Platinum and Diamond in unit sales in multiple countries.
In 2017 Wizkid had the Toronto rapper feature on his single, 'Come Closer,' from his album 'Sounds from the Other Side.' That song achieved platinum success in Canada.

Before that album came 'Ayo,' in 2014 after his debut project, 'Superstar,' which dropped in 2011.
