Why Do World Leaders Destroy Their Toilet Waste?
The security measures for heads of state are not limited to armored vehicles, security teams, or private jets. Special toilet and biological waste protocols, which have come to the fore through leaders like Trump, Putin, and Kim Jong-un, may seem strange from the outside, but they are explained as a means to protect health information in the world of intelligence.
It has been reported that a similar security protocol will be implemented during Trump's visit to the NATO Leaders Summit in Ankara in 2026, and the wastes will be taken to the USA. But why? Let's see...
The topic of a special toilet system came up in relation to Trump's participation in the 2026 NATO summit in Ankara.
It had been announced that U.S. President Donald Trump would attend the NATO Leaders Summit held in Ankara on July 78 with a delegation of approximately 1,400 people. It was also shared that the hotel where Trump would stay would be completely allocated to the U.S. delegation during the visit, and no other guests would be accepted.
Prior to the visit, the hotel's electricity, water, ventilation, and fire safety systems were thoroughly inspected. However, the most attention-grabbing security detail was Trump's personal toilet system. It was stated that the President's biological waste would be collected through a special system without being discharged into the local sewage system and would be taken to the U.S.
This practice is not unique to Trump. Similar measures were taken during the overseas visits of some U.S. presidents in the past. It was even claimed that the toilet paper used during George W. Bush's visit to Vienna in 2006 was taken to the U.S.-owned Ramstein Air Base.
Claims have been made that Putin's waste is being transported in special bags.
Similar allegations have been circulating for years about Russian President Vladimir Putin. It's been claimed that during his trips abroad, his feces are specially packaged and later transported back to Russia. This procedure is said to be carried out by the Federal Protection Service officers.
It was noted that this practice was also employed during Putin's visits to France in 2017 and Saudi Arabia in 2019. The objective is interpreted as reducing the possibility of foreign intelligence services gaining information about Putin's health or DNA.
The use of biological waste for intelligence purposes is not a new concept either. During the Cold War, there were attempts to gather information through feces and toilet waste. There are even claims that during Stalin's time, attempts were made to analyze Mao Zedong's feces.
Kim Jong-un carries his own toilet with him.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is one of the leaders frequently making headlines for his personal toilet security. In 2018, when he was heading to the summit with Donald Trump in Singapore, he brought along his armored limousine, food, and portable toilet.
It's reported that Kim Jong-un does not use public toilets, and his personal toilet accompanies him on his travels. The reason for this security measure is the same: The leader's feces carry information about his health, and it's not desired to leave this information behind.
It's indicated that Kim follows a similar protocol not only at international summits, but also during his visits to factories, military bases, and facilities within the country. It's stated that there are separate vehicles in his convoy for his personal toilet, and these toilets can only be used by the leader himself.
