Watch DC’s New Series Featuring John Cena that Has A Perfect Rotten Tomatoes Rating

If you’ve already watched The Suicide Squad (2021), then you are familiar with Peacemaker. The superhero now stars in his spin-off series featuring John Cena. Picking up from where the film left off, Peacemaker goes back home after recovering from the battle with Bloodsport. But he has a price to pay for his freedom.

Peacemaker is created by James Gunn, produced by Troll Court and The Safran Company in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television. Immediately after healing from the injuries he got in the events of The Suicide Squad (2021), Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, must join the peculiar A.R.G.U.S. squad, 'Project Butterfly'. Their mission is to locate and get rid of the parasitic human-butterfly creatures who have invaded the U.S.A. and the rest of the world.

Joining John Cena, are Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, a member of the Project Butterfly and daughter of A.R.G.U.S. leader, Amanda Walker as the leader of A.R.G.U.S., Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, who looks up to Peacemaker as an elder brother, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, the leader of Project Butterfly who reports to the founder of A.R.G.U.S., Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, an A.R.G.U.S. member assigned to Project Butterfly, Steve Agee as John Economos, another A.R.G.U.S. agent and Robert Patrick as August “Auggie” Smith/White Dragon, Peacemaker’s racist dad who provides him technological support.

Peacemaker has eight episodes in total. The first three, called 'A Whole New Whirled”, “Best Friends For Never', and 'Better Goff Dead' respectively premiered on January 13 on HBO Max. 'The Chaod Less Traveled” premiered on January 20, “Monkey Dory” on January 27, “Murn After Reading” on February 3, “Stop Dragon My Heart Around” on February 10 and the last “It’s Cow or Never” on February 17 2022.

The show has so far received nearly 100% Rotten Tomatoes, only shy of 5% and an incredible 8.5/10 rating on IMDb, making it a must-watch.
