In the series, Enis Arıkan plays Taylan Kutaygil, Nevra Serezli plays Sitare Kutaygil, and Nergis Kumbasar plays Tiraje Kutaygil. In the new episode’s wedding scene, which delves into the family’s past, AI was used to depict younger versions of all three characters.

The images didn’t go unnoticed by viewers. As soon as the scene aired, it sparked a flurry of comments on social media.

The moments quickly went viral, and viewers continued sharing screenshots and clips. Nevra Serezli was among the names who drew the most attention in the scene.

This wasn’t the first time the series had turned to AI. In a flashback to Murat Aydınoğlu’s past in Episode 5, Sarp Apak surprised viewers with a bald, heavier look. It later emerged that the image had also been created using AI.

The scene preserved the actor’s face while digitally recreating the character’s younger self. The wedding scene in the latest episode showed that the series is continuing to use the technique as a storytelling device in scenes set in the past.

Producer Polat Yağcı previously described the series as “an old-school family comedy” and said the team paid tribute to earlier productions and the greats of the industry every week. The flashbacks also stand out as part of this nostalgic approach.
