Trevor Noah is a South African writer, producer, and comedian known for his impressive performances in The Daily Show, Son of Patricia, Jon Stewart: The Mark Twain Prize, Stand Up to Cancer, Afraid of the Dark, and many more. 

The U.S.-based comedian recently unveiled an addition to his projects with Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would, a stand-up special scheduled to launch in late November. After seven years, Trevor Noah had previously announced his exit from The Daily Show. 

What’s ‘Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would’ About?

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would is one of the projects the comedian revealed he would be working on after leaving The Daily Show. The special will take viewers across Noah’s infant days in South Africa alongside his beloved mother, Patricia. 

Other scenes will focus on Noah’s everyday life in America, talking about his new experience from learning German.

Is There A Trailer for ‘Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would’?

Yes. Netflix just posted the official trailer on its YouTube Channel to provide more storylines for the upcoming Trevor Noah project. In 1 minute and 49 seconds, the trailer starts with Noah’s tip to win an election in America- a strange voice can outweigh honesty and good ideas. 

It proceeds with Trevor Noah mimicking several of America’s past presidents like Clinton, George Bush, Barrack Obama, and Joe Biden. Clearly, Trevor has a lot in store for the viewers.

Who Are the Project Makers?

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would is directed by David Paul Meyer, while Noah single-handedly casts the special. The film was shot at the Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, as a Day Zero Productions project. 

Noah also serves as the chief producer alongside Sanaz Yamin, Derek Van Pelt, Norm Aladjem, and Bob Bain.

When is ‘Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would’ Launching?

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would lands on Tuesday, 22nd November, exclusively on Netflix. Noah took it to his verified Instagram account to share a glimpse of the upcoming movie alongside the launch date.
