Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) is a concept that refers to the psychological transformation an individual undergoes following a profoundly distressing and devastating life event, such as a natural disaster, severe illness, loss, or accident. In psychology, this phenomenon is not merely about 'returning to one's former state' (resilience), but rather reaching a level of awareness and strength deeper than before the crisis occurred. In other words, the individual does not just survive the storm, but the storm itself fortifies their structure at its core. This transformation manifests itself in five primary dimensions: an increase in personal strength, deepening of relationships, redefining life priorities, turning towards new opportunities, and a deeper search for spiritual meaning, thereby completely transforming the experienced pain.
