‘The Good Fight’ Season 6: Release Date, Storyline, Trailer & More

Buckle up! We are getting back to the court. Paramount+ recently announced the launch of The Good Fight, the sixth and last season.

The Good Fight’s previous seasons aired on CBS until the 5th season shifted to Paramount+ in June 2021, followed by a renewal for season 6.

'The Good Fight’s Outstanding Performance

The series has acquired two-time Emmy nominations in 2017 and 2018 for Outstanding Original Main Title Music and Outstanding Music and Lyrics.

We couldn’t forget the series’ impressive performance of an 8.3 out of 1-star rating on IMDb, a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 80% on TV Guide.

A Recap of Season 5

We saw Hal making his court in a back room to serve justice his own way. It initially seemed like a crazy idea but actually assisted ferment violence that nearly resembled the US Capitol attack of January 6th.

Hal’s actions created tension through the fifth season as Kurt, Diane’s husband, faces an FBI investigation for having connections to people who participated in the unrest.

The series is a spin-off of The Good Wife, following Maia Rindell, an upcoming lawyer. She joins forces with her godmother and mentor, Diane, to follow an openly humiliating scandal. While Diane encounters career issues and financial constraints after losing her employment, both ladies combine forces to join Lucca’s law firm.

Throughout The Good Fight, the ladies undertake high-profile cases to get back the prestigious titles they once owned.

The Good Fight has never been shy about handling real issues, and this last season will resume with more voting rights, Cold War aggression, civil war, and more stories.

The Show Creators and Cast

Robert and Michelle King serve as the chief producers and showrunners of The Good Fight, which they co-created with Phil A. Robinson.

Other top producers include Jacquelyn Reingold, Christine Baranski, Nelson McCormick, Jonathan Tolins, William Finkelstein, Liz Glotzer, David W. Zucker, and Ridley Scott. The series is a CBS Studios, King Size Productions, and Scott Free Productions co-work with Paramount Global Content Distribution as the international distributor.
