The Age at Which Generation Z Considers Someone “Old” Has Been Revealed: Younger Than You Might Think!
While it is often said that 'Your actual age is the age you feel,' what people think about you can also be extremely significant. After all, people treat you based on their perception, and over time, you may start to feel 'that' age as well.
So, at what age do young people start considering someone as 'old'?
A study conducted with 4,000 people across the United Kingdom has answered this question.
According to Generation Z, old age isn't exactly a distant reality.

Those born between 1946 and 1964, commonly referred to as the Boomer generation, believe that old age begins at 67. However, their children and grandchildren hold the view that old age commences at a much younger age. A survey conducted across the United Kingdom with 4,000 participants revealed how different generations perceive aging.
According to Generation Z, crossing the threshold of 62 signifies official aging. They believe that cognitive decline starts at 62, yet the struggle to adapt to technology kicks in three years earlier, at 59. Some members of Generation Z even take this a step further, opining that it's no longer fitting for someone at the age of 56 to don the latest fashion trends.
Celebrities like Ajda Pekkan, Nebahat Çehre, Brad Pitt, and Lisa Kudrow are considered "old" according to Generation Z.

The analysis of the data also reveals that one fifth of Generation Z, those between the ages of 18 and 29, anticipate not aging well. Furthermore, a quarter of the participants do not expect to be surrounded by numerous family members or friends in their later years.
Approximately 27% of the survey participants believe that their health will deteriorate as they age and that people tend to have less fun as they grow older. A significant portion of Generation Z, on the other hand, foresees individuals over the age of 50 struggling to keep up with technology.
