During this period, when the temperatures have retreated from sweltering highs to cool, walkable degrees, parks adorned in every shade of red and gold, lively autumn festivals, and cultural nights take center stage.

1. Gothenburg, Sweden
This charming city on the west coast of Sweden offers enchanting hiking trails, especially in the Slottsskogen Park, which is adorned with vibrant shades of red and amber in the fall.
You can partake in Sweden's famous 'fika' coffee break ritual on October 4th, which is celebrated as Cinnamon Bun Day (Kanelbullens dag).
