Worried Tesla Owners Are Changing Logos to Avoid "Vandalism"
Several Tesla owners are seen 'camouflaging' their vehicles with rival brand logos to avoid apparent vandalism amid Elon Musk controversy. The photos of Tesla cars rocking the logos of other brands have gone viral as owners are trying to distance themselves from Elon Musk's controversial stance in politics.
The tech leader is facing a social media backlash due to his political connections with the current U.S. President.

Elon Musk's position as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and his controversial online presence have caused quite the stir over the months.
Over the past weeks there have been many instances of Tesla cars being burned at dealerships in several European countries.

Fearing becoming the target of harassment, Tesla drivers have been spotted rebranding their vehicles with logos from car manufacturers.

“Imagine harassing a random person because of what a billionaire is doing,” one user wrote.
“I genuinely feel sorry for most Tesla owners. They didn’t know it would turn out like this,” another said.
For instance, one image depicts what appears to be a Tesla Cybertruck with its back replaced by a Toyota logo.

Some believe the logo swaps served as a defensive move against potential vandalism, while others believe the real motive is rooted in embarrassment over Elon Musk’s involvement in politics.

Some critics view Musk's efforts to cut government spending as a "power grab," arguing that it diminishes the influence of elected officials in the decision-making process.

One owner stated that, “Many Tesla owners bought their vehicles years ago when Elon wasn’t involved in politics at all,”
Critics have raised concerns about Musk and other business leaders being prominently featured at Trump’s inauguration.

Critics are igniting a broader discussion on the influence of these figures in shaping government policy.
