Shock Claim About ‘Manifest’: Designer Anıl Can Makar Details Trouble Over Loaned Costumes
An intriguing claim has been made about Manifest, the most talked-about group in Turkey. Designer Anıl Can Makar has shared his experience regarding some issues he faced with the clothes he provided.
Let's delve into the details together.
Among the most popular names of recent times are the six golden girls of the Manifest group: Mina, Zeynep, Esin, Lidya, Hilal, and Sueda.

Emerging as Turkey's first girl group in a long while from the Big5 program prepared by Tolga Akış, Manifest is causing a stir with every move they make, while their songs are being listened to by millions.
Manifest, which has been going through a somewhat unpleasant period since their concerts exclusive to audiences over 18, is now in the spotlight due to a surprising allegation about them.
A few hours ago, Manifest, who announced that their new single "Amateur" is on the way, caught attention with a wardrobe malfunction.

Designer Anıl Can Makar, who is frequently featured in the vlogs of the band Manifest and whose costume designs for girls are often showcased on his Instagram account, shared a three-paragraph statement a few hours ago.
Makar's choice of words in describing the issues he's had with the attire he provided for the Manifest band caught social media users by surprise.
Anıl Can Makar, who has been dealing with this situation for the past 910 days, expressed his desire to finally share his experience. He stated, 'My products were requested by Bedirhan Taşçı, the stylist for Manifest's music video shoot, and I sent them. When most of my items were returned, they were in such a state - excessive smell, stains, dirt... They were sent back without even being dry cleaned. 'I'll send you the money, you get it cleaned' was said, but that's not my job. Regardless of how busy he says he is and as much as I respect that, it's not acceptable to send products back in this condition due to basic work ethics and decency.'
He asserted that the crux of the issue was the unavailability and inaccessibility of three of his products for a period of 9-10 months.

'One item was completely lost, while others took an incredibly long time to be found. When the lost item couldn't be located even after seven months, they offered me money. The devaluation of my design and labor for months, and the lack of responsibility taken, was what disturbed me the most.
Another product was shipped via cargo because courier was too expensive, but the local delivery didn't show up for three days. Yet another item that couldn't be found ended up in the wardrobe of the artist who wore it. Due to these circumstances, I wasn't able to send my designs to three different shoots. In other words, because someone else was busy, I was unable to do my own work for months,' said Anıl Can Makar, elaborating on his allegations.
He concluded by saying, 'In this industry where we work and strive together, I condemn those who lack work ethics, do not take responsibility, and fail to fulfill the basic requirements of the job. I am also very tired of the exploitation of my sincerity by attempts to misuse work ethics.'
