Rolls-Royce has unveiled its new model, "Project Nightingale".
Luxury car manufacturer RollsRoyce has unveiled its new two-seater convertible electric model. The company, operating under the BMW umbrella, announced that it has named the new model 'Project Nightingale'. The model, which will be handcrafted, is set to start deliveries in 2028.
The most striking feature of the new model is the near absence of mechanical noise, thanks to its fully electric motor structure. RollsRoyce continues to uphold its claim of quiet driving with this new model.
A model that will make anyone who sees it fall in love, and only 100 of them will be produced!
RollsRoyce has revealed that its Project Nightingale model draws inspiration from the experimental EX series vehicles of the 1920s and the Art Deco movement.
The vehicle, with its length of 5.76 meters, will be similar in size to the brand's flagship model, the four or five-seater Phantom. Thanks to its elongated engine hood, the model will present a 'torpedo-shaped' design, reflecting the aesthetic sensibilities of past experimental vehicles.
"The brand's most ambitious project"
The statements by Chris Brownridge, the CEO of RollsRoyce Motor Cars, were as follows:
'Some of the most distinguished RollsRoyce customers worldwide have requested our most ambitious endeavor. Consequently, we brought together three elements that have never been combined in our brand before: The freedom of design, a powerful and nearly silent all-electric power system, and a unique interpretation of the open driving experience.'
So, how much will the new RollsRoyce cost?
RollsRoyce did not share the price of their vehicles with the public. However, it was stated that the Project Nightingale model would be positioned between the 'Private Commission' products priced over 500,000 pounds and the 'Coachbuild' products that could reach approximately 20 million pounds.
