Ratings Expert Explains Why Ben Leman and Roses and Sins Cut Each Other's Ratings
The rivalry between the TV series 'I am Leman' and 'Roses and Sins', both aired on Saturday nights, continues unabated. 'Roses and Sins' typically clinches the top spot, while 'I am Leman' usually finds itself in second or third place. A ratings expert has shed light on the competition between the two series and the reasons behind it.
While four shows were simultaneously broadcasted on Saturday evenings, Gönül Dağı had lost its long-held peak position.

While 'Roses and Sins' continued to hold its position at the top, 'I am Leman' had become its close contender. On the other hand, 'Stranger in the Mirror' had to make an early finale due to its inability to achieve the desired success in the ratings.
The rating expert elucidated the success of 'Roses and Sins' as well as its rivalry with 'I am Leman', articulating how their ratings mutually influence each other due to certain reasons.

The rating expert stated, 'The audience of 'I, Leman' and 'Roses and Sins' is quite similar. When 'I, Leman' airs an advertisement, the ratings of 'Roses and Sins' tend to increase by almost one point, which clearly demonstrates this correlation. The starting rating for 'Roses and Sins' is 2.5 points higher, likely due to the female 45+ audience switching to 'Roses and Sins' at the beginning of this week. This can also be inferred from the 23:12-23:28 time slot. 'Roses and Sins' wasn't broadcasted during this slot last week. While 'I, Leman' generally drops by 0.10-0.15 points throughout the episode, it fell by 0.87 points during this specific time slot. With Berrak's awakening in 'Roses and Sins', it's apparent that a group of about 0.50-0.55 has switched to 'Roses and Sins' at the start.'
