The hit music guessing show, Name That Tune debuts for a second season, starring an ensemble of celebrities. Hosted by Jane Krakowski, the show follows a bunch of celebrities who juggle their music genre know-how by figuring out which tunes Randy Jackson's band plays.
Each correct answer earns the contestant points, and the one with the highest wins a lumpsum prize for their charity.
What to Expect from Name That Tune Season 2
The one-hour long premiere episode, TV Royalty and Gridiron Champs, which aired on Tuesday, March 29, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., saw two stand-alone half-house contests where two competitors had to quickly guess the song titles played for brief seconds.
Kelly Osbourne representing the charity house Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedars’-Sinai went head-to-head with pop entertainer and song composer Jojo representing The Hole in the Wall Gang.
Next in line is Vernon Davis representing Vernon Davis Foundation, competing against former NFL player Victor Cruz representing Victor Cruz Foundation. Admitting to his love for composing rap music, Davis will show off his prowess to the audience. Cruz will also take to the stage to perform a piece of rap.
Name That Tune's second episode, Sitcom Stars and Olympic Legends will air on Tuesday, April 5 on Fox.
The full list of star contestants this season includes Jennie Garth, Jodie Sweetin, Ian Ziering, Frankie Muniz, Shaggy, Kelly Osbourne, Kim Fields, Jojo, Mel B., Tituss Burgess, Jana Kramer, Nastia Liukin Cassadee Pope, Laurie Hernandez, Victor Cruz and Vernon Davis.
The celebrities participate in the show to raise capital for their charity organizations. Those who make it to the Bid-Note round will enter the final Golden Medley round that sees the winner taking home $ 100,000.
