What Happens in ‘Who Killed Santa’?
Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Arnett), whose idea of an ideal Christmas is watching good scenes of Diehard on VHS, receives a call from his ex-wife Rhonda Jenkins Seattle (Haneefah Wood) that Santa has been murdered by an unknown killer.
Mayor Palmer (Tawny Newsome) must preside over an event at city hall where Santa was to gift orphans. She recruits new trainees Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph to help run security. Bateman and Rudolph have no idea what's going on, and since they have no script, they must use improv to get leads on who killed Santa.
