In the early days of April, Ibrahim Tatlıses was rushed to the hospital with complaints of high fever and fatigue. Following a series of medical examinations, he was diagnosed with a bacterial infection stemming from an inflamed gallbladder, medically known as cholecystitis.
The surgeons who performed the operation had indicated that there was a serious inflammation and large stones in the gallbladder, and announced that the surgery was successfully completed. Following roughly a two-week treatment and intensive care period, Tatlıses was discharged from the hospital on April 22, 2026. Upon leaving the hospital, he stated that his health was good and made headlines by revealing that he was leaving his will to the state due to inheritance disputes with his children.
After his discharge from the hospital, İbrahim Tatlıses announced his will by stating, 'I will leave all my assets to the state. Not a penny for the children. I will donate to the Mehmetçik Foundation. I didn't inherit any money from my father, I earned it myself.'
