HBO Max is renowned for delivering the best drama films of all time. The streaming platform is back with another piece, My Dead Dad, launching this Wednesday, June 1st.
How Darks Does 'My Dead Dad' Get?
The film stars writer and actor Pedro Correa as the exhausted Lucas undertakes to manage the inherited apartment in LA after learning of his father's death from lung cancer ten years ago. Looking forward to selling the apartment with further reasoning, Lucas encounters a wide range of tenants and learns that his dad has a different personality from the ones he knows.
Even without qualifications, Lucas accepts his new responsibilities and strives to handle the tenant's problems. In the meantime, Frank aids in easing his unresolved anger issues towards his dad by encouraging him to be open.
Accolades
The film won the Best Feature Award at the Santa Clarita International Festival and the Best Feature Film- Jury Award at the Jacksonville Film Festival.
