Hande Ercel Breaks Silence: Famous Actress’s Official Statement After Detention Revealed
Renowned actress Hande Erçel was detained at the airport on Friday, the 27th, upon her return from abroad as part of a prohibited substance investigation. After giving her statement to the prosecutor, Erçel was released and provided hair and blood samples at the Forensic Medicine Institute. In her statement, Erçel denied the allegations of illegal substance use, expressing her distress by saying, 'I'm upset.'

Following her testimony, Erçel was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution where samples of her hair, blood, and urine were collected.
Erçel's statement has come to light. Denying the allegations of illicit substance use, Erçel stated, 'I have never used drugs or stimulants at any point in my life. I pay attention to living a healthy lifestyle, not least because of my profession.'
Furthermore, Erçel pointed out that she does not have a nightlife due to her busy work schedule.
Hande Erçel also addressed the allegations about Hakan Sabancı in her statement.
Hande Erçel, who stated 'I have never seen Hakan Sabancı using drugs or stimulants,' gave the following statement:
'I am currently continuing my education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Aside from that, I am engaged in acting. In the file, I have only visited the restaurant section of Bebek Hotel a few times for business meetings among the various places mentioned. Apart from that, I do not have a nightlife.
I have never attended any private parties or events allegedly organized by certain businessmen that have been reported in the media. I don't know anyone mentioned in the file who organizes such parties. I was never aware of these parties and events, nor did I receive any invitation in any form.
Having been in front of the camera for approximately 13 years, I have always been mindful of my lifestyle due to the awareness of the audience I could influence. I have strived and continue to strive to be a role model for everyone and to represent my country in the best way possible abroad. I am saddened that my name is mentioned in this way in such a file, and I do not accept the accusation leveled against me.'
