Known for roles in films like Phone Booth and After Yang, as well as an Oscar-nominated performance in The Banshees of Inisherin, Farrell is making a television comeback since True Detective Season 2. He will reprise his role as Penguin in the upcoming Max derivative show, having debuted the character in 2022's The Batman. Furthermore, Farrell will not only star in 'Sugar' but also direct it, taking on the executive producer role for both projects.
