Colin Farrell takes center stage in the first glimpses of his detective character, 'Sugar.' Known for roles in films like Phone Booth and After Yang, as well as an Oscar-nominated performance in The Banshees of Inisherin, Farrell is making a television comeback since True Detective Season 2. He will reprise his role as Penguin in the upcoming Max derivative show, having debuted the character in 2022's The Batman. Furthermore, Farrell will not only star in 'Sugar' but also direct it, taking on the executive producer role for both projects.

Amy Ryan played Jan in Hulu's Only Murders in the Building and is known for roles in The Office and Gone Baby Gone, earning her an Oscar nomination.
