Fast & Furious Movies in Order: How to Watch the F&F Movie Franchise
If there are ongoing debates about whether the earth is flat or the earth is round, there are also ongoing arguments about how the complete Fast & Furious movie franchise should be watched. According to some, the movie franchise should not really be watched according to its chronological release dates, but rather by looking at the storylines of the movies themselves. Many people argue that it is better to watch it according to how the stories develop.
As of 2022, there are currently nine films in the franchise, excluding the two upcoming films in 2023 and 2024, and the spin-offs. So with this, let us take a look at the nine Fast & Furious movies in chronological order, and maybe let us also consider watching it based on its storyline.

Brian embarks on a perilous assignment with new colleague Roman Pearce (Tyrese) to take down a big drug dealer.

Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) is always an outcast, but his successes as a street racer help him identify himself. When Sean goes against the local champion and falls for the man's girlfriend, the stakes become higher.

5. Fast Five (2011)

Brian and Dom assemble their one-of-a-kind team of car racers, knowing they must confront the crooked businessman who wants them dead before the federal agent on their trail (Dwayne Johnson) finds them.

Meanwhile, Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) has been tracking a gang of dangerous mercenary drivers whose second-in-command is a familiar face to Dom. Hobbs, unable to take them down on his own, asks Dom and his crew for assistance in exchange exonerating everybody.
7. Furious 7 (2015)

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), and the rest of the team have scattered to resume their normal lives after defeating worldwide terrorist Owen Shaw. Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), is thirsty for vengeance. In exchange for their assistance in freeing a kidnapped computer hacker who has devised a formidable surveillance program, a suave government agent promises to help Dom and colleagues take care of Shaw.
8. The Fate of the Furious (2017)

The globe-trotting team has achieved some kind of a regular existence, with Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired, and the rest of the crew exonerated. When a mysterious lady dubbed Cipher drives Dom to betray them all, they face an unexpected struggle. They must now band together to bring home the guy who made them a family and prevent Cipher from wreaking havoc.
9. F9 The Fast Saga (2021)
Genre: Adventure, Action, Crime
Runtime: 2h 25m
Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, lives a serene life off the grid with Letty and his son, Brian, but they are aware that danger lies just beyond their peaceful horizon. This time, the threat will push Dom to face his past sins if he is to save those he cares about. His team band together to foil a world-shattering conspiracy masterminded by the most experienced assassin and high-performance racer they've ever met: Dom's forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).
