Eurostat has released the minimum wage data for July 2025. As of July 1, 2025, a national minimum wage was in effect in 22 out of 27 European Union (EU) countries. The five EU countries without a national minimum wage were Denmark, Italy, Austria, Finland, and Sweden. According to the data obtained by Eurostat, there is a significant disparity in monthly minimum wages across the EU. Eurostat publishes this data annually, in January and July.

The data reveals a stark contrast between Bulgaria, with a monthly minimum wage of 551 euros, and Luxembourg, where the figure stands at a monthly 2,704 euros. This highlights the considerable variability in minimum wages among European countries.

Countries with a monthly minimum wage exceeding 1,500 euros include Luxembourg, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France. The minimum wage in France varies between 1,802 euros and 2,704 euros in Luxembourg.

Minimum Wage in Spain

Countries with a monthly minimum wage ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 euros include Spain, Slovenia, Poland, Lithuania, Greece, Portugal, and Cyprus. The minimum wages in these countries range from 1,000 euros in Cyprus to 1,381 euros in Spain.

Minimum Wage in Bulgaria

Countries with a monthly minimum wage below 1,000 euros include Croatia, Malta, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Latvia, Hungary, and Bulgaria. The national minimum wages in these countries vary between 551 euros in Bulgaria and 970 euros in Croatia.
