On the red carpet, the most eye-catching figure was Zendaya, who practices 'Method Dressing'.
Zendaya frequently makes headlines with her method dressing approach on the red carpets of movies. In other words, the famous star reflects the spirit and theme of the character she portrays in her style. For instance, she opts for a dress adorned with webs in the Spider-Man movie, while carrying a design reflecting the desert concept in the movie Dune.
In the movie The Odyssey, Zendaya, who brings to life Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, managed once again to draw all attention to herself on the red carpet. During promotional events held in London, New York, and Paris, Zendaya was like a reflection of Greek goddesses, a mirror of mythology.
One of Zendaya's most striking appearances was her choice in London.
The famous personality opted for a custom-designed dress by Jacquemus. The pristine white, sleeveless design caught the eye with its simplicity and elegance. The backless design was paired with a shawl that covered her hair, evoking a sense of Grecian influence. This iconic look was interpreted as a modern take on Greek goddesses. Zendaya completed this look with her extravagant jewelry, simple heels, and makeup that carried a hint of Mediterranean flair. Once again, this look received full marks from fashion critics.
The most striking aspect of the flawless look was indeed the jewelry.
It has been revealed that Zendaya's earrings are actually historical artifacts. These earrings, which are approximately 3,000 years old, were sourced by Barron London and redesigned with modern craftsmanship by the British designer Glenn Spiro.
On Barron London's website, this piece of jewelry is introduced with the following words:
'Two gold medallion plates from the Ziwiye period in Iran, designed by Glenn Spiro with diamonds on yellow gold.'
It is known that the Ziwiye treasure contains items made of gold, silver, and ivory.
It is reported that the Ziwiye treasure was unearthed in 1947, in a field outside the Ziwiyeh fortress. The treasure is said to contain gold, silver, and ivory items, as well as a few pieces of gold in the shape of a human face.
It is known that examples of the Ziwiye Treasure are scattered across public and private collections. Items attributed to the treasure are currently on display in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Louvre in Paris, and the British Museum in London.
Some are also on the red carpets.
