The massive fire that broke out on January 7th in the city of Los Angeles, USA, and virtually reduced the area to ruins, inflicted damage on hundreds of structures. Moreover, the homes of numerous celebrities were also reduced to ashes.
Among those affected by the fire were Hollywood stars living in the US such as Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Adam Brody, and Tom Hanks, along with Beren Saat and Kenan Doğulu from Turkey.
The famous couple's single-story villa in the Pacific Palisades region, worth $2.5 million, was completely destroyed in the flames. According to the news by Müge Dağıstanlı, the couple learned about the fire when their helpers, who visit the house once a week for cleaning and checking, called in a panic saying, 'This place is hell. The house is on fire, we're running away.' Videos received shortly after from the helpers showed the house had completely turned to ash. Allegedly, Kenan Doğulu couldn't hold back his tears when he learned about the fire.
Since that day, the singer has been in almost daily discussions with his American lawyer and insurance company. However, despite the passing of nearly 11 months, the outcome remains unclear.
Neighbors who lost their homes in the same fire expressed their frustration, saying, 'They're only going to give us a million dollars, we can't rebuild the same house with this money.'
