The incident reportedly occurred in Çırkan neighborhood in the evening hours. Allegedly, Rıza Tamer Şişman started feeling unwell a short while after taking his prescription medications. Upon being notified of his condition, medical teams were dispatched to the location. The artist, initially treated at his home, was transported to Bodrum State Hospital by ambulance accompanied by a friend. As his condition worsened, he was transferred to a private hospital. Despite the doctors' relentless efforts, Tamer tragically lost his life.

Upon the directive of the public prosecutor, the artist's body was dispatched to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue in Muğla for the determination of the definitive cause of death. While the possibility of poisoning is being considered in the incident, it was reported that the investigation is ongoing.
