Nostalgic Reunion: Halil Ergun Visits Famous Yaprak Dokumu Mansion After 16 Years
Certain TV series have left an indelible mark on television history, transcending the era in which they were broadcast and leaving deep imprints in the viewers' memory. Unquestionably, at the forefront of these series is 'Yaprak Dökümü', one of the most iconic productions of Turkish television.
Photographer and content creator Murad Salahlı visited the legendary wooden mansion where the series 'Yaprak Dökümü' was filmed, accompanied by seasoned actor Halil Ergün, who brought to life the character of Ali Rıza Bey in the series. This visit, which took place 16 years after the end of the shooting, moved both Halil Ergün and the fans of the series.
With the first steps taken into the historical wooden mansion in Beylerbeyi, where the series 'Yaprak Dökümü' was filmed, it felt as though time had rewound.
As Halil Ergün entered through the garden gate and wandered around the rooms where he spent his entire life with the family of Ali Rıza Bey in the series, he experienced emotional moments. As he ascended the mansion's stairs, looked out over the garden from the balcony, and stood in front of the wooden doors, it was as if he was reliving those days all over again.
During his visit, Halil Ergün emphasized that the mansion was not merely a filming set, but had become a second home during the intense work pace that lasted for approximately five years. The veteran actor pointed out that each corner of the mansion held a unique memory. Particularly, the emotion experienced when standing at the top of those famous stairs, which represented the pain, sorrow, and family ties in the series, was directly reflected to the viewers.
