Mysterious Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS Moves in the Opposite Direction of Other Comets
The mysterious interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, hailing from the depths of the universe, has left scientists in awe. Exhibiting a behavior never before seen in a comet, this object formed a tail stretching towards the Sun, contrary to the norm. Observed in August by the TwoMeter Twin Telescope in the Canary Islands, a thin stream of gas and dust, approximately 6 kilometers long, was detected emanating from the core of 3I/ATLAS. This extraordinary movement was described by astronomers as a 'phenomenon that is difficult to explain physically.'

A few weeks ago, the Hubble Space Telescope observed a similar situation. Images obtained at the end of July revealed a bright structure extending towards the Sun from the object, the length of which was about ten times its width.
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb described this formation as a 'jet pointed towards the Sun', stating, 'Seeing this is as surprising as noticing a tail sprouting from your house cat's forehead.'
Loeb pointed out that observations from both Hubble and ground-based telescopes confirmed that this material was indeed moving towards the Sun. This behavior completely contradicts the known laws of physics that explain the behavior of comets.
It's being suggested that instead of a comet, it could potentially be an artificial object.
Professor Avi Loeb is considering two possibilities to explain the unusual behavior of 3I/ATLAS.
According to the first one, the object might be ejecting large and heavy particles into space that are not significantly affected by sunlight. The second possibility is that there could be a completely new gas emission mechanism that the scientific community has not yet been able to define.
Loeb goes even further with a bold interpretation, arguing that 3I/ATLAS 'may not be a naturally originated object'. In his opinion, this object could be a 'comet-like disguise of a technological structure'. Moreover, Loeb draws attention to the possibility that it could be a sort of 'Trojan Horse' sent by an extraterrestrial civilization.

NASA, on the other hand, holds a different view. According to the agency, 3I/ATLAS is a completely natural comet with nothing out of the ordinary. The agency revealed that images captured during its pass near Mars on October 3rd show the object has a cylindrical shape and emits a green glow.
