Mkhitaryan Exposed Former Manchester United Manager Mourinho's Messages
It is known that José Mourinho has been involved in many controversies and tensions throughout his career. One of these tensions was with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Mkhitaryan wrote about the argument he had with Mourinho when they came face to face:
I said to him, 'You've been criticizing me for a year and a half now, since I came to Manchester United.' Mourinho called me a 'shit' and I couldn't control my nerves. 'You are the real shit. A big one at that.'
When the tension escalated, Mourinho lashed out at him with these words: 'Get out of here, I don't want to see you again.'
"He texted me on WhatsApp every night."
The footballer wearing the Inter jersey explained that Mourinho would message him every night:
'He wouldn't say a word to me during training, he would stay silent. But he would message me every night on WhatsApp: 'Miki, please leave.' I would always send the same copied response: 'If I find a suitable team, I will leave, otherwise I will wait for the summer.''
Months later, Mourinho changed the content of his daily messages:
''Miki, please leave so I can transfer Alexis Sanchez.''
To which Mkhitaryan responded one last time:
'I won't leave just to please you, please stop messaging me. If you want, talk to Mino (Raiola, my deceased former manager).'
According to the experienced player, the tension between the two continued at Old Trafford for some time.
