Created by Roger Sweet in 1981, the character He-Man began his journey in the world of cartoons and continued to thrive in the toy industry, video games, and literature, becoming a popular cultural icon.
Now, the He-Man adventure is set to return to screens with a new film.
Netflix and Amazon MGM Studios are working on a new live-action adaptation of the 'Masters of the Universe' franchise.
According to Variety, Nicholas Galitzine will portray He-Man in the upcoming "Masters of the Universe" film.
The 29-year-old actor has recently gained fame for his roles in 'The Idea of You' and the series 'Mary & George.'
The "Masters of the Universe" franchise was previously adapted into a live-action film in 1987, with Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor.
However, the film, directed by Gary Goddard, did not perform well at the box office.
Over the years, several live-action projects have been proposed, but none were completed.
