From DC's joker villain to Marvel's sought-off hero, Jared Leto is about to take us on the ride of a lifetime!
MCU'S newest entry Morbius is neither a hero nor superhero flick in the conventional sense, as a vampiric bat-man Morbius starring Leto possesses a weird disease that empowers him with a skill-set, separating him from mortals.
No kids, please! If you're expecting the traditional Marvel plot, this is nothing like blue-eyed America's ass favorite. Director Daniel Espinoza and his group of writers have a twisted plot in store for you and then some! From Morbius’ purple smoky effects to complete his fang snarls, this film seems to put 18 on PG, though actually rated PG 13+.
The story begins with a helicopter transporting a cage to some cave. However, the crippled Dr Michael Morbius premeditatively cuts the palm of his hand with a blade as they arrive. As the dramatic echoes of bat wings roar from within the cave, Morbius tells the helicopter pilot to run if he’s gonna run.
The film's first 60 minutes seem cleverly crafted, where the doctor invests his time in inventing a cure for his ailment and paper-folding. Snap! It hits him that he can cross human DNA with bat DNA. He sets out on an illegal experimental quest because of course, the government wouldn't approve any human trials in a million years.
He and his research assistant Martine Bancroft starring Adria Arjona, journey into the international waters off the Long Island shore with eight cargo men. Once Morbius turns himself into a guinea pig by injecting bat DNA into his system, it doesn’t take long for the situation to turn bloodshot. But enough said! Let’s get into how you can sink your teeth into this horror Marvel film.
