Kadir Inanir, a living legend of Turkish cinema, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of millions not only with his acting, but also with his charisma, demeanor, and unforgettable projects. He has been captivating audiences for years, maintaining his unique position through his remarkable performances and distinctive appeal.
Etched in memory as one of the most powerful male actors of Yeşilçam, the veteran actor Kadir İnanır, who left an indelible mark on an era with the films he starred in, particularly in the 70s and 80s, has been making headlines recently with his health condition, despite being absent from the screens for many years.
The seasoned actor had previously battled serious health problems. In 2024, İnanır was rushed into surgery as a result of a blood clot in his brain. He received intensive care treatment for a prolonged period and went through a highly critical phase.
In 2021, the veteran actor experienced a similar health issue but managed to recover after a successful treatment process. Kadir İnanır, who started physical therapy last year, was admitted to the hospital again in the following months due to a lung infection, causing concern among his fans. His most recent appearance a few weeks ago also stirred considerable worry among his followers. The alarming news this time is that Kadir İnanır was taken to the hospital again on May 15th, diagnosed with pneumonia, and is currently under intensive care treatment.
According to an exclusive report by İsmail Bayrak, a columnist for Hürriyet, it has recently come to light that the veteran actor was intubated just moments ago.
While it was reported that his health condition was critically deteriorating, the first statement on the matter came from his life partner, Jülide Kural.
In her statement, Jülide Kural announced, 'Regrettably, Kadir was intubated a short while ago. A tumor was detected beneath the pneumonia in his lungs. He was intubated to facilitate more comfortable intervention, to prevent him from suffering, and for controlled treatment. Of course, we are facing a very risky situation. That's all I have to say for now. Hopefully, we will receive good news.'
