With the advancement of technology, the weekly working hours for employees could drop to as little as 3.5 days. He stated, “Technology has always replaced some jobs. In the future, your children will live to be 100, they won’t suffer from cancer, and most likely, they’ll work only 3.5 days a week.”
JPMorgan, the largest bank in the United States, has already integrated AI into various operations, including error detection, trading, research, and hedging.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Dimon also described AI as a “dynamic, ever-evolving entity” that will bring about significant change.
Regarding layoffs at JPMorgan due to AI, Jamie Dimon expressed optimism about rehiring those affected, highlighting his hope for their future reintegration into the workforce.
