Choose or Die (formerly titled CURS>R) is an upcoming horror thriller film about a young woman who comes to regret playing a 1980s survival computer game. The film stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), Iola Evans, Eddie Marsan and Robert Englund.

‘Choose or Die’ Plot Summary

A broke college dropout (Iola Evans) tries to play an obscure 1980s survival computer game in search of an unclaimed $125,000 prize.

The game, on the other hand, curses her, and she is forced to make perilous decisions and face reality-bending difficulties.

She realizes she's no longer playing for the money, but for her life, after a sequence of surprisingly scary moments. She is trapped in an unbreakable cycle of mind-bending horror by the game.

‘Choose or Die’ Production Details

After participating in the British government's Film and TV Production Restart Scheme, filming was finished on location in London in April 2021. In July 2021, Netflix acquired international distribution rights to the film.

'Choose or Die' was written by Simon Allen and directed by Toby Meakins, who is directing his first feature film.
