In the return leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-finals, Shakhtar Donetsk, managed by Arda Turan, secured their place in the semi-finals by drawing 2-2 against AZ Alkmaar in an away game.
The first half of the match, held at AFAS Stadium, concluded in a goalless draw. Shakhtar's goals were scored by Alisson in the 58th minute and Meirelles in the 83rd, while AZ Alkmaar responded with goals from Jensen and Sin.
Having won the first match 3-0, the Ukrainian team advanced to the next round by maintaining their aggregate lead.
