In one scene from Gladiator 2's trailer, Connie Nielsen, reprising her role as Lucilla, confesses to her son Lucius that his father is Maximus.
Gladiator 2 follows the story of Lucius, the grandson of Rome’s former emperor Marcus Aurelius.
